It looks like Mukesh Ambani-owned Reliance Jio is losing its charm as the telecom operator just after when the Bharti Airtel added more active subscriber than Reliance Jio in the month of April 2017. However, that was the first time when Bharti Airtel was managed to beat Reliance Jio when it comes to active subscriber base since the latter’s launch in the month of September 2016. Bharti Airtel has managed to notch up to 2.6 million active subscribers in the Month of April compared to Reliance Jio’s 400000 addition, said brokerage Goldman Sachs, after analyzing the TRAI data. However, currently, the plan is only available to 4G SIM users only, but still, the good news is that those who want to upgrade their SIM cards, they can simply avail this offer for them as well. - This new offer is only applicable to 4G SIM users.
- The worst thing, this is a one-time recharge only.
- The second worst thing, this plan might not be available for all Airtel prepaid numbers. Hold on, along with this new data plan Bharti Airtel has also announced a new Rs 8 prepaid plan that will simply allow you to make all local and STD calls at just 30 paise per minute with the validity of 54 days.
